In 2018 I was at the pinnacle of my health journey. I was vegan with a highly alkaline diet and training Tai Chi 3-5 times per week. My body fat was extremely low and I was physically fit!
Yet, the times where I allowed mental stress to creep in or struggled in my relationship, my health tanked. It didn’t matter how much rest I got, how often I trained, nor my food intake. The bags under my eyes ensued and I felt sluggish when the cortisol ramped up.
